Buckets and Shovels
We offer internal NDT testing on all components we repair, ensuring quality and reliability. Our services include the manufacture of all types of buckets, as well as the repair and replacement of parts on all makes of buckets. This covers face shovels, lips, wrappers, leading edges, side plates, torque tubes, and line boring, providing a complete solution for bucket refurbishment and performance.
We offer the following services for buckets:
Repair or rebuilds on all makes of buckets.
Internal NDT testing on all components.
Replacement or repair of all parts on the bucket including: Lips, Wrappers, Leading Edges, Side plates, Torque tubes.
We also offer line boring on our buckets.

Shovel Track Frames
In certain environments the terrain and working conditions can be very abrasive on the machinery and its parts. Catech has developed a specialised wear package for these conditions, by fitting guards to the track frames and preventing further rock damage. We have found this can extend the life of your machines by almost 30%. We can also add a thicker bottom roller mounting plate to add extra strength to your track frames.
Our track frame services cover everything from inspection to full restoration. Using MPI and UT testing, we identify wear or damage and carry out precise repairs as needed. This includes restoring idler guide areas, rebuilding roller mounts, straightening tracks, reinforcing cracked sections, and repairing or replacing mounting plates to ensure lasting performance and reliability.
